Valentines Day - Date Ideas

Valentine's Day is all about love however sometimes the pressure of the day can end up causing more stress than enjoyment. This year avoid the stress and focus on spending quality time with the one you love. Keep reading to see our top date ideas for couples, friends and families below!

Breakfast In Bed - Sometimes the simplest of ideas can be the most meaningful. Grab a takeaway coffee, whip up some scrambled eggs, pop a rose on the side and spend a lazy morning in bed with the one you love.

Pottery Class - Relive every romantic movie and go to a pottery class together. Super fun and you get to keep what you create.

Recreate your first date or holiday - If this is somewhere local then take them back and reminisce on all the good times in your relationship. Can't get there? The pandemic has made traveling a bit hard so that means it's time to get creative. Your first holiday as a couple was to Italy and you visited the cutest pizza restaurant ... then turn your home into Italy! Put on some romantic music, cook (or order) a delicious Italian meal and have some top-notch wines ready to pour.

Weekend Getaway - Splurge a bit and spend the weekend in your favourite spot with your favourite person. Sometimes we all need a little getaway from everyday life.

Spa Day - Book in at your local spa for a couples treatment or create your own spa at home with facemasks, candles and a bubble bath.

Hot Air Balloon - If you are looking to really bring the wow factor, a romantic hot air balloon ride could be the perfect romantic activity. Wake your loved one up at dawn and take them up into the clouds for a breathtaking experience.

Cook Dinner Together - Work together in the kitchen to create a culinary masterpiece. You would be surprised at how fun & inexpensive this can be!

Mini Golf - You’re never too old for mini-golf! Get a bit competitive and play a few rounds. Loser buys dessert!

Picnic in the park - Cheese, wine, chocolate and your favourite picnic location. What could be more romantic? Great if you want to keep the costs down!

Cook their Favourite Meal - A simple but very intimate idea that won't break the bank. Run them a bubble bath and while they are soaking away whip up a delicious meal. Keep it simple and don't worry if you aren't a pro in the kitchen. It's the thought that counts the most here!

True friends are hard to come by. Show them just how much you love and appreciate them. Did you know that Galentine's Day is actually celebrated on the 13th February, the day before Valentine's Day.

Movie Marathon - Set up the lounge room with blankets, pillows, snacks and get everyone to bring their favourite movie.

Taco Night - Get your best friends together and host a taco night. Add some Mexican cocktails (we are looking at you Margarita) to really have some fun.

Paint and Sip Class - Find your local paint & sip! Drink wine and create a masterpiece with all your favourite gals.

Galentines Night - Get the girls together, buy chocolate, wine and talk the night away.

Send flowers to your best friend - Doesn’t matter whether you’re receiving flowers from your partner or best friend, everyone loves to receive flowers.

Game Night - Host a game night. Get everyone to bring their favourite board game for a guaranteed night of fun. We call Colonel Mustard, with the Candlestick to the Billard Room.

Secret Cupid - Think Secret Santa but for Valentine’s day.

Karaoke - Sing the night away at a karaoke bar. An evening filled with hilarity is guaranteed!

High Tea - Pinkies up! Can’t go wrong with a cup of tea and a sweet dessert surrounded by all your favourite people.

Family is irreplaceable. Show them just how much you love them and spend some quality time together. Valentine's Day isn't just about romantic love!
